A young family, a husband who worked and a bakery was hard to manage, but Sophia had a brilliant idea. Because someone had to stay home to take care of the twins, she decided to bake the cookies and pies at home. There was not much to do when the two were sleeping, after all.




Marko's career took a turn; he was a chef in a local restaurant, but then got asked to do an advertisement for a spork; a spoon and fork in one! His smile had convinced many buy to one and it was an huge success. He received 20.000,- which they used to pay off a part of the debt from Sophia's bakery. 






There was a downside, though... local fame didn't only bring money, it also brought jealousy and fangirling. Miriam Bradley (by charterzard ) seemed nice at first sight, but as soon as she was inside her true colours showed. Sophia couldn't cope with strange women falling in love with her Marko... 













And she slapped her, although Sophia wasn't physically one of the stronger people in town. She got quickly defeated and regretted she had invited Miriam in her house in the first place.



However, revenge was sweet.















The twins grew up; Sergio being the rebel of the two. 






Gloria was more quiet, which her mother was thankful for. One loud toddler was more than enough. 









In her early years, it showed that Gloria was a very loving person and liked to cuddle Whisper to death. The old cat Whisper just wanted to be alone, but for some reason she always managed to find her. 






While mother and son were playing, a strange woman (Augusta backerbse ) appeared, seemingly out of nowhere. However, when no one came at the door, she left... 












Sergio loved autumn, even though Sophia wasn't quite happy with him playing in the leaves all the time. He always got so dirty and often her husband was busy working and studying.






When Marko finally had a day off from work, she headed straight to her bakery and apologised to the few regular costumers (Horace, by myself).






They were both pretty busy with their lifes, but still took time for each other. As soon as the children went to bed for a afternoon's nap, they went to the bedroom for a little privacy. Sophia wanted another child, but Marko wasn't so sure about that.



As a good chef, Sophia always had to test her cookies before putting it for sale in the bakery, but that doesn't come without consequences... with her and Marko doing well in the kitchen, it was bound to happen. 






Whisper , despite her old age was still an active feline and loved to chase the little fire flies. She played with them all night, not knowing that the day after would be a big day.












Next time Sophia went to the bakery, there was a new costumer, waiting outside. She was all too happy to help this young woman out, she even gave her a one-time discount for being a new costumer. The girl smiled and said to return the favour.



When it was fairly quiet in the shop, she decided to bake some more pies, but it didn't always go well.









Whisper had died in the early morning; Marko was too late to do anything for her and all that was left were the memories. Although he'd never been really fond of her, he decided she needed to have a nice last rest place and they made a nice flowery corner in the garden, with Whisper's gravestone in the middle of it.






The twins were already developing a strong bond; they often gave each other hugs and kisses.

The two also had a stronge sense of adventure and everytime the parents weren't looking, they sneaked outside in the night to explore the mightly lands of the family's garden. Sergio was always ahead; Gloria always stayed on a distance until she decided it was safe enough to follow him.



Their travels never lasted long; Marko was always there to bring them back to the house safely.



Sophia perfected her Turkey-cooking skills and wanted desperately to join a cooking contest. With a lot of enthusiasm she headed to the cooking club, only to discover there were too few contestants at nine am. She however wasn't disappointed and was determined to try it another time.



It was the twins' birthdays and Gloria was the first to grow up. She loved her dragon suit, but her father told her to get her some decent clothes. Grumpily she obeyed him.






Then it was Sergio's turn, who grew up in both age and mind. He was now finally old enough to decide for himself what he wanted to do with his hair and the first thing to go was the mohawk. He never liked the gel; it made his hair so not soft.



After their transitioning, they were still very close with each other. They didn't have much in common - Gloria adored music, while Sergio was born with a chess piece in his hand - but they both wanted a pet. They had been young when Whisper died, but that didn't mean it hadn't affected them.

After some pleading and puppy eyes their mother went to the pet store, where she encountered the teenage girl from earlier. The two recognised each other and Sophia was offered two animals for the price of one. The two cats had been for sale for long, but they were a little odd looking and most rather had a normal pet. Sophia was hesitant to take two pets at once - her life was busy enough - but the two cats were meowing at her and it didn't take them long to convince her. She took the both of them home, where they were happily greeted by the twins.









Sophia had been watching them with a smile on her face when they were playing with the new cats and then sighed. Was this really the life she wanted?
