voleste | GoS' CiJ gift for Shastakiss

As usual, I participated in GoS' Christmas in July event and this year I had the honour to create for the wonderful Shastakiss! She very kindly shared my gift, and underneath you'll find the post with all the goodies, including the download link.

Part A; objects

1. First 20 paintings on the Bella Squared mesh; the artwork is from Fartoocute.com.

2. A patio set by Sim_Man123 consisting of 9 items. The wood is in the six maxis woods, the fabrics in Shasta's Yeti Palette. The texture of the fabric is a mixture of the original texture (the stripes) and a herringbone pattern from The Sims 3, extracted by Honeywell. The wood textures are extracted by AmethystFenix and CuriousB was very, very awesome to give me her unfinished photoshop actions of the Yeti palette. This set is slaved; the loveseat is the master.

3. The pillows are by Sims2Play; the texture is again, from the Sims 3. These come also in Shasta's Yeti palette.

4. Two planters from Shakeshaft; full planter is the master. These come in Maxis Woods and five flowers, which SailorSimmer at GoS very kindly gave to me, who extracted them from others, like Skyrim and Dotted.

5. And DOT's infamous lanterns set. I recoloured them in seven of your favourite CuriousB colours. There are also 'mix' recolours, in which I paired up the CuriousB colour with the default one, white.

Part B; hoods and lots

For this idea, I have to FULLY credit Lirenyi, who inspired me so much and knew from the minute you were my Santee. I told her I had no idea what to make and this is what happened.
L: "Hey, you can make an amusement park centered around Gnoah and Flannah!"
M: "...Are you nuts"
L: "Yeah, as a custom vacation destination!"
M: "........................" - it was already around 6 or 7 of july and I was going on holiday for a full week!-
M: "Oh why the heck not." (Sophie was my CiJ Santa last year and made me such a gorgeous vacation destination....she was my motivation to finish this one on time!)

So Sunsphere Islands was born! It's a new terrain and consists of two islands. The small island is a mix of the EA vacation destinations (but I built the lots myself, puh.) It has four lots for each: a hotel, a restaurant, and two community lots. On the main island you can find a couple of mini rowhouses, mini shops, a church, a swimming pool and sport center, and a few Magic Town-esque community lots.

The best part? It's all CC free, except that you need the Life Stories Build and Buy bundle, which I have included in the downloads. You do need all Expansions and Stuff Packs.

Better yet, you can download all the lots separatedly, the terrain seperatedly and decide if you want to play it as a main hood or vacation destination. There are instructions included in the download how to install everything, so please do read the read me's.

There is a folder with (unedited) overviews and front views from all the lots. I will greatly exceed the picture limit if I post them all here, so I decided not to include any on the post itself. However, I have a few game play pictures so you get a general idea of what you're getting!
